Krishna Dai

(52 years old) lives in Kathmandu and works as a tour guide in Nepal. He studied Nepalese anthropology at the University of Kathmandu. He learned German at the Gothe Institute (Nepal), as well as at the Max Müller Institute (India). During a 3-year apprenticeship as a hotel clerk at the IHK in Munich, he deepened his knowledge of German to the level of colloquial language.

He has 20 years of experience as a tour guide. In this freelance activity he organizes and accompanies tours in and through Nepal for agencies of well-known German, Austrian and Swiss tour operators.

Krishna belongs to the lineage of the Kshatriyas Masto Ancestor Spirits. He learned as a child from his grandfather who was also a shaman and therefore grew up in the naturalness of this shamanic tradition.

Due to his stay in Germany he not only speaks German perfectly (English anyway), but is also very familiar with the European culture. By knowing both cultures it is comparatively easy for him to introduce his guests to the peculiarities of his home country and Himalayan shamanism.
